The most current news that I've seen, heard or read about My Keith Richards:

Long recognized as a rebel, Keith Richards has lived the Rock & Roll dream to its fullest as a Rolling Stone and Glimmer Twin.

My initial thoughts for this web site is to provide a forum for some of the personal photographs that I've either taken myself or that were taken by friends/acquaintances as well as photos that have been available from the internet or more traditional sources like old Circus or CREEM magazines.

I would love to dedicate a few pages for narrative stories related to Keith, the Stones and nearly any other topic that comes to my mind or that is submitted by site visitors. While there are lots of web sites dedicated to the Rolling Stones, Keith and Mick Jagger, I figured there's always room for more so here we are.

The picture here 's a scanned head shot that Keith autographed for me back in March of 1993. Keith was in New York performing at the Beacon Theatre with the X-pensive Winos. It was my great pleasure to have met THE MAN despite his steadfast refusal to be photographed with me that night. I had better luck with several members of the Winos including Bobby Keys and Waddy Wachtel. There are a couple of pictures below from that night in the Big Apple . In the meantime, below is a scan from Lisa Robinsons column in the NY Post. There is a Keef blurb and reference to the Beacon Show.

May 9: Keith quotes and other news of the week...at the links below:

Who said this week that "... no one is Keith..."

43 years ago this week, Keith....

...."when we are on stage we are basically in our office"....

"... I learned it in Jamaica"

This is from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in 2001. Keith of course didn't remember our encounter nearly 10 years earlier at the Beacon and said "no" to my request for a picture together and was less than pleased with this picture that I immediately snapped. I've learned to ask forgiveness from Keith rather than to ask for permission. BTW, a year or 2 later is when "Capt. Jack Sparrow" became a cultural icon and here is Keef shortly after he started dangling stuff from his British dreads...
